Hurst Day
What is Hurst Day?
You’ll awake to the sound of bagpipes and see the Hurst Day flag flying high. Hurst Day shows up unexpectedly every fall semester, surprising everyone on campus with a day of canceled classes, contagious fun, and electric Laker pride.
The Hurst is transformed into a carnival-like atmosphere with games, inflatable slides, jumps, obstacle courses, a dunk tank, rock walls, bungee runs, music, food, and prizes. The day is capped off with a delicious steak dinner for all to enjoy. We encourage students to participate in all of the excitement of Hurst Day beginning their freshman year. You’ll probably even see your professors playing games and hanging out in Trinity Green throughout the day.
When is Hurst Day?
Good try.
