Professional Development Courses for Educators with PLS 3rd Learning
Mercyhurst University partners with PLS 3rd Learning to provide graduate-level education courses online and on-site at locations throughout the region, offering educators a convenient opportunity to complete courses for professional development or license renewal.
Whether you’re looking to fulfill Pennsylvania ACT 48 continuing education requirements, improve your skills as an educator, get started on your master’s, or earn the credentials needed to advance your career, professional development courses from Mercyhurst and PLS 3rd Learning can help you achieve your goals. Through the PLS 3rd Learning courses, Mercyhurst offers instruction in integrated educational theory, research-based best practices, and meaningful applications, providing measurable, transformational results for educators and students. Course instructors are experienced classroom teachers and provide real-life applications for your classroom.
Each course offers three credit hours at the graduate level, and credits from certain PLS 3rd Learning courses will count toward Mercyhurst’s Teaching Excellence master’s program or Special Education master’s program.
In addition, PLS now offers micro-credentials in instructional coaching, blended and online teaching, new teacher induction, 21st century learning, teaching and assessment, and teacher leadership.
