About the Advocacy Toolkit
The Advocacy Toolkit is your resource for reaching out to friends and family with the Mercyhurst Giving Day GiveCampus page. A Giving Day advocate is a passionate supporter who helps spread the word about Mercyhurst University's Giving Day! Advocates amplify the campaign by sharing, posting, emailing, texting, and encouraging others to give. Your network can inspire others to support Mercyhurst students! Advocates have the ability to inspire others to give by spreading awareness, uploading a personal video about why you're excited to be a part of our 12th annual Giving Day, and having your own unique tracking link to share to your personal network.
Get Involved Through Social Media
Giving Day is powered by participation from our Laker community. When you post, share, or text about Giving Day, you introduce Mercyhurst to new donors and remind fellow Lakers to give. One post can inspire multiple gifts. Engagement with your social network is a great way to spread the word and encourage your fellow Lakers to give! The Social Media Toolkit lets you share fun "I Gave" banners, Mercyhurst branded Giving Day logos, story templates, and sample posts to engage your community. Share your Giving Day excitement on social media and tag us so we can celebrate with you!
