Lisa Layman is an accomplished operatic soprano, voice teacher and acting coach. At ease on both the operatic stage and in concert halls, her operatic and oratorio career has spanned more than 35 years and counting. She has served on the voice faculty of SUNY Fredonia for the last eight years, and as the executive director of the Western New York Chamber Orchestra (Ensemble-in-Residence at SUNY Fredonia) for the past six seasons. Lisa currently resides in Erie, Pennsylvania with her husband Brent and their four dogs, and is an active soloist and choral artist for the Cathedral of Saint Paul (Erie Episcopal) and in Erie’s first professional choral ensemble “Transcendence.”
