As an interior design educator for more than 25 years, Ms. Spewock strives to model behavior in the classroom that demonstrates empathy, kindness and flexibility. She currently serves as the Faculty Advisor for the Interior Architecture and Design student club to support student activities and engage students with the professional industry. Her academic coursework fosters student projects that are focused on the design process itself.
Mrs. Spewock is an advocate for the interior design profession by serving as an interior design accreditation site visitor.She is committed to the ongoing enrichment of the interior design profession by reviewing student work at universities and colleges and by promoting quality professional standards for the education of interior design through this review process. Mrs. Spewock specializes in curriculum development, accreditation, academic assessment, and collaborative learning opportunities.
