Ms. Hamm started as a CNA in 2001 and graduated from a Practical Nursing program in 2006, earning her LPN license. She joined Mercyhurst University and obtained her RN-ASN, RN-BSN, and RN-MSN degree in Integrative Nurse Leadership. With over 22 years of health care experience combined in various backgrounds from long-term care, department of corrections, emergency room, medical rehabilitation, neuro-med, medical-surgical, to the school nurse setting, she has joined the faculty at Mercyhurst to follow her passion of teaching in the nursing field. She joined the American Holistic Nurses Association in 2021 (AHNA). She enjoys spending time with family, riding motorcycles, camping, kayaking, meditating in loving-kindness, and enjoying nature. She has a passion for teaching with an emphasis on holistic nursing and taking advantage of “caring moments.”
