Christine Gluvna
Respiratory Therapy Program Director, Assistant Professor of Respiratory Therapy
Ms. Gluvna has more than 17 years of experience in respiratory therapy and has served in RT education for more than 12 years as both a clinical preceptor and professor. She continues to practice clinically in the long-term acute care setting and has earned her Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) credential. Christine has also served the profession as both the Education Committee Chair and West District Director of the Pennsylvania Society for Respiratory Care (PSRC).

- Ms. Gluvna has taught across the respiratory therapy curriculum during her time at Mercyhurst University. Specifically, she enjoys teaching courses related to adult critical care and management of critically ill patients. In addition, she teaches SCI courses for the REACH curriculum that are designed to introduce students to varied aspects related to the healthcare system. She is also a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor with the American Heart Association.
