Rieger teaches composition, British literature, and world literature. Her essays addressing issues of gender, reading, and spectatorship in Victorian literature have appeared in Victorian Culture and Nineteenth-Century Feminisms.

Education and Academic Interests:

Dr. Rieger holds a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. from the University of Dallas. She has published essays on Victorian writers Alfred Lord Tennyson, D. G. Rossetti, and John Ruskin, in addition to articles on new approached to teaching world literature and writing. Dr. Rieger is also department sponsor for Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society.
