C. Max Meyer is a dedicated music educator and instructional leader with over 10 years of experience in secondary education and instructional coaching. Holding a B.A. in Music Education from PennWest Edinboro and an M.Ed. in Instructional Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah, he has developed a diverse skill set that spans classroom teaching, ensemble direction, curriculum development, and teacher mentoring.
Throughout his career, Max has led award-winning music programs and ensembles, driving significant growth in student enrollment and engagement, including a 200% increase in instrumental music participation over seven years. He has guided students to state-level recognition, and his ensembles have performed at prestigious events such as the Utah Music Educators Association (UMEA) State Conference.
In his role as an instructional coach, Max has collaborated closely with teachers and administrators to foster professional growth, enhance curriculum, and improve instructional practices. He has successfully implemented tiered instructional strategies and led Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), empowering educators to adopt data-driven approaches for student success. His passion for music education is matched by his dedication to creating inclusive learning environments where all students, including Multi-Language Learners and students with special needs, can thrive.
Whether in the classroom or as a mentor, Max’s goal is to inspire students and educators to achieve their fullest potential through music and innovative teaching practices.
