O'Neil Society
The O’Neil Society comprises forward-thinking alumni, parents and friends who give to Mercyhurst University through estate or financial plans, or other deferred gift arrangements. With a planned gift, you may be able to make a greater impact than you thought was possible during your lifetime.
The O’Neil Society was created in 1990 as a tribute to James and Orva O’Neil, who were major beneficiaries at the University in the 1930’s during the Great Depression and were the first to provide planned gifts to Mercyhurst University. The O’Neil Society today honors those generous alumni, parent and friends who have thoughtfully remembered Mercyhurst University in their estate planning.
