About Professor Ronald Anderson
Ronald Anderson is a graduate of Conneaut High School and a native of Erie, PA. He holds a B.A. in computer science and mathematics from Thiel College in Greenville, PA. He earned his M.S. in mathematics and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX.
Since 2014, Ron has designed and taught undergraduate and graduate courses in multiple disciplines, including computer science, information systems, mathematics, business analytics, and digital transformation. He has also supported student entrepreneurs and small businesses by developing and refining their technology-related strategies. Ron’s research spans several domains, including computational modeling, neuroimaging analytics, the societal impacts of technology, and engineering pedagogy.
Ron’s hobbies include 3D printing and CNC artwork, electronics, and software-defined radio applications. He also enjoys many outdoor activities, including fishing, biking, and backyard astronomy. One of his greatest passions is sharing science and technology with the general public.
