Mercyhurst recognized as leader in sustainability by PennFuture
Citizens for Pennsylvania’s Future (PennFuture) has chosen Mercyhurst to receive a “Green Power: Turn it On!” award for its “continued dedication to clean energy, including a three-year commitment to purchase 100 percent of your electricity needs from wind power.”

Mercyhurst, Ophelia Project partner on peer aggression pilot project
Mercyhurst College and The Ophelia Project of Erie are taking the Creating A Safe School program (CASS) into three local schools this September. The objectives and outcomes of the pilot project will be evaluated by the Mercyhurst Civic Institute over the next two years.

Prep school founder kicks off 'Flourishing Child' observance
The Rev. Father John Foley, founder of the innovative Cristo Rey Network school system for disadvantaged youth, will discuss his mission and his model at Mercyhurst College Sept. 8 when he kicks off the college's yearlong "Flourishing Child' observance.
