Theatre: The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940
The creative team responsible for a recent Broadway flop, in which three chorus girls were murdered by the mysterious "Stage Door Slasher,” assemble for a backer's audition of their new show at the Westchester estate of a wealthy producer. The house is replete with sliding panels, secret passageways and a German maid, all of which figure diabolically in the comic mayhem that ensues when the infamous "Slasher" makes his reappearance and strikes again…and again. The Mercyhurst Theatre Program presents the John Bishop play, directed by Dr. Brett D. Johnson, Thursday through Saturday, March 28-30, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 31, at 2 p.m. in Mercyhurst’s Taylor Little Theatre. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for students/youth. Visit miac.mercyhurst.edu or call 814-824-3000 to purchase tickets.
