“A girl should be two things: who and what she wants”- Coco Chanel
I am very fortunate to merge my two passions together into a rewarding career: fashion and education. Being an alumnus of Mercyhurst University, I consider teaching at my alma mater an honor. I personally strive every day to educate and prepare our students for as many situations they may encounter after graduation. Prior to teaching, I had a diverse working experience, enabling me to bring a unique corporate perspective back into the classroom. I enjoy teaching the intricacies of the business of fashion, including having the skills to be successful in the workplace. The education acquired at Mercyhurst University is immeasurable, but we also aim to teach life skills the students can carry with them throughout their careers. I also have always had a love for historical costume and fashion. As long as I can remember, I have been captivated by classic movies and the glamorous fashion included. I aspire to make my enthusiasm for historical costume and fashion contagious among my students.
