The Evelyn Lincoln Institute for Ethics and Society at Mercyhurst University will host a panel discussion titled “Is this a crisis? Understanding and Responding to the Drug-Resistant Bacteria Problem.” Dr. Amy Danowitz from Chemistry, Dr. Lucy Thairu from Public Health, and Dr. Randy Clemons from Political Science will explore the science of drug-resistant bacteria as well as the public health and policy implications.
