EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS SUPPLEMENTAL GRANT PROGRAM
Barber National Institute Employees
Whether you’re looking to earn a college degree, pursue professional development or fulfill a lifelong goal, Mercyhurst University and the Barber National Institute can help you get there. Through Mercyhurst’s Educational Benefits Supplemental Grant program, eligible Barber National Institute employees may qualify for a $650 per course tuition discount on certain undergraduate and graduate programs at Mercyhurst’s main campus (some programs may also be available online). The Mercyhurst-Barber partnership will allow you to pursue a bachelor’s or master’s degree at significantly reduced out-of-pocket cost. Barber National Institute scholarships are contingent on the availability of funds. Students may also be eligible for low interest federal loans or other sources of financial aid to cover costs completely. Learn more about undergraduate financial aid here or graduate financial aid here.
As a Mercyhurst student, you’ll have access to campus resources and state-of-the-art facilities, along with dedicated professors eager to share years of invaluable experience. Beginning your first semester, you’ll discover opportunities to collaborate with professors and peers across disciplines on research, publications and other hands-on projects.
Adult students pursuing an undergraduate degree can take advantage benefits including:
- Convenient scheduling, with day, evening, weekend or online classes.
- Tutoring and career services available to all students.
- Refresher courses in writing, math or reading.
Mercyhurst’s graduate programs grant you easy access to our renowned faculty, cutting-edge coursework and other dynamic learning experiences. The skills you’ll develop in these graduate programs can be readily applied in any field. With convenient online and on-campus offerings, you can earn a grad degree or certificate on your schedule.
